Simply this: if a trans person is offended by anything (*anything*) I say, then discipline could be brought against me. This one group is allowed to abuse the laws around harassment to maliciously silence another.
It started off with forms & questionnaires displaying Gender instead of Sex. Corrections were promised, but never arrived.
Then came the ‘educational’ publications, telling us all about the world of Gender – redefining bisexual, lesbian; telling us what we must do to be ‘good allies’. “Sex” is a word rapidly vanishing from all publications.
A conversation let slip that the approach to toilets was now by gender, not sex – yet this has not been told to the general employee population.
I raised polite and grounded questions, mainly around safeguarding concerns. A trans person complained. I was shut up and told not to discuss openly again, or discipline may follow.

Surprisingly, we are Stonewall Champions. The company are aware of ONS, Essex University and other warning signs. The gender mandate comes right from the top and I sense that our people are too subservient to challenge.
Noone responds to me with any glimmer of self-thought, it’s all ‘company policy’ unchallenged and robotic.
