NOTE: This is one of many testimonies regarding institutional capture, given to me by employees, students and service users in various sectors across the UK. See this page for more examples.
Our data collection has trans as an option for sex, I have had men want their previous name and sex deleted so that safeguarding checks couldn’t be completed on them on their new “identity”.
I work in the family courts and our organisation has been captured. We have an LGBT staff support forum that you have to ask to join, I have never had a reply to my enquiry.

We have had a local group deliver training which was a trans “man” berating everyone including the NHS who he works for and who had dragged along his own child to talk about her new “maddy” mummy daddy hybrid. It was just sick and really not relevant to our work .
We have been captured by the pronoun police and I am resisting it. Also as a lesbian I am so sick of being lumped in with trans like we have something in common – just a meaningless alphabet soup – trans parents who want contact but don’t want their child to call them daddy and tell me how they would have breastfed and been a better mummy – they even want to steal that title.
Dangerous abusive trans women, who have abused women and children, claiming we are all transphobic and breaching their human rights but then the next court appearance they aren’t trans anymore. We are all too scared to actually say it as a group of women – men are not women and they aren’t mothers either.
